To the Walkers in the #YOUmatter; 4th Annual Havasu Suicide Awareness and Prevention Walk 2020,
 
Thank you so very much for participating in our suicide awareness walk and for supporting the #YOUmatter; Group. Please post your walking pictures on the #YOUmatter; Facebook page or the Havasu Community Health Foundation page.  We wanted to make sure that you understood that the medals for this year’s walk will not be available immediately after the walk.  They will be available in approximately 3-4 weeks.  You will be notified when the medals are in, so that you can swing by the Community Health Foundation to pick them up.  If you are having your medal sent to you, you’ll be notified and they will be put in the mail to you.

What is a Virtual Walk/Run?
It’s an opportunity for you, your family and friends to get out and walk anywhere around your local community, in far away places, or on a treadmill. It’s a fun walk while supporting Suicide Awareness & Prevention.
 
When do I walk?
Anytime between the week of September 6th and September 12th.
 
How can I let others know I’m participating?
Follow the #YOUmatter; or Havasu Community Health Foundation on Facebook and share your photos.
 
 
After Registration
After you register for the walk, in your confirmation email, you will receive a link to "Manage My Registration".

This link will give you a “Print Digital Bib”. With your printed bib, you will wear the printed bib on your shirt the day of your walk in support of Suicide Awareness and Prevention.

We encourage you to take a photo of yourself walking with your printed bib and upload on the "Manage My Registration" in the “Submit Race Results” section. There you will add your time (if you are tracking) and your picture of your walk. Then you will be given a certificate to print and a medal for your participation.

Medals may be picked up after September 30th at Havasu Community Health Foundation in the Acoma Executive Plaza, 94 Acoma Blvd. S. Suite 101, Lake Havasu City, or they can be mailed for an additional $5 processing fee.
