Stroke Support Group of Havasu
Providing support, education and socialization to improve quality of life for stroke survivors and their caregivers.
Mission Statement
We believe survivors’ and caregivers’ circle of support is key to recovery. Socialization is an important part of stroke recovery, however this can be difficult for stroke survivors due to problems with communication, memory, and physical impairments. We hope to provide a safe and accepting place to share personal stories, get help with problems, celebrate successes, and to receive support from others who have been through a similar situation. Stroke Support Group of Havasu provides a place for survivors, families and caregivers to interact socially and meaningfully with others.
